Virtual Voting
The final piece of the preliminary puzzle is building and testing a robust virtual voting system that is solid, secure, and future-proof. This system should be a completely new take on web applications, that integrates biometrics, individual specific hardware, and other layers that ensure non-voters and/or hackers can never access the system, modify results, tamper with code, or extract information from any entry point into the system.
This system will require cybersecurity volunteers, system administrators, UI designers, and other experts to envision, build, and test the system. Initial testers will be the Δ Coalition, with additional volunteers and industry experts to try, test, and attack and attempt to break it.
The system must be based on multiple layers of security that protect against future quantum and AI threats while still allowing authorized users to register, log in, and participate. This will enable the system to be widely distributed, easy to use by legitimate users, and impossible to misuse by non-legitimate or hostile actors.
