All are welcome to participate in building the Liminal State into the best version of itself, and we hope that voices from around the world will contribute with their unique perspectives. We do understand that not everyone has a degree in political science, nor is it expected or required, so our interest with this category is to give every visitor a basic understanding of the relationship existing between a government and its citizens.

This introduction is careful to be inclusive of all kinds of governments, historic and modern, in a most generic way, but keep in mind that further mentions of democracies or the Liminal State will be specifically describing representative democracies (i.e. republics), and those differences with the Liminal State, a new government framework more akin to a direct democracy.
