Intrinsic Branch: International Affairs

The International Affairs Branch is in charge of maintaining relationships with foreign countries and entities. This Branch is special in that three ambassadors serve every nation, with each serving 12 year terms, staggered every 4 years. The Branch Officials of the International Affairs Branch appoint these ambassadors using Proportional Rank Choice Voting from among the qualified and willing candidates.

The objective of the three ambassadors is to serve the interests of the Liminal State Citizens in conjunction with the relationship with that other nation. These ambassadors function like Branch Officials, where the vote among them decides minor decisions, such as staffing requirements at the foreign embassies. For major decisions, those which impact the entire Liminal State, these three ambassadors report directly to the Executive Group. The Executive Group are the only ones able to make decisions regarding international relationships that affect the entire Liminal State.
