The Justice Branch operates with complete independence from the Executive Group, answering only to the foundational laws and rules of the Liminal State. While the Justice Branch is responsible for investigating all government abuses, The Branch Officials of the Justice Branch have the right to assign these cases to Independent Departments. In the case of any issues within the Justice Branch, they are obligated to appoint independent outside council to investigate them.
The Branch Officials of the Justice Branch are voted into their positions the same way all Branch Officials are, and they are then responsible for staffing positions and making day to day decisions for the Branch.
The law enforcement department for the Judicial Branch is special in that they are also responsible for managing the relationship between the law violators and the branch that ultimately handles prisons. (who is? - make sure to include in that branch profile)
