The Defense Branch is the umbrella over all parts of the military and is tasked with protecting the citizens from all foreign threats at the border. The branch is tasked with separating humans from the battle in order to protect soldier lives, and will prioritize non-lethal means of disabling all threats to citizens.
Until there is a strong international democratic body with the ability to enforce civility around the world, the military of the Liminal State will be superior in all methods, technology, and weapons systems to defend against those that would use violence against the Liminal State.
The military may never be used in foreign lands, beyond the Liminal State’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), be mobilized against the Citizens, or be used as a policing force within the borders of the state.
